Tweeddale Apiaries

Established since 1945 when founder Stuart Tweeddale started beekeeping after the war. The family business has been carried on by his son Don and grandchildren Mark, Kim and Steven.

Based in Taihape, Tweeddale Apiaries, one of the largest beekeeping operations in New Zealand with 20,000 beehives in a 200km radius covering a diverse area stretching from Wanganui to the King Country Region. All our products are traceable all the way from the landowners’ properties to the bottle.

With modern processing plants, we pride ourselves on being the best in the country for efficiency. Tweeddale apiaries also proudly maintain all beehives without the use of antibiotics, and our commitment to innovation allows us to continually improve our products and practices.
